Custodial $28.45-30.91 / Grounds-Maintenance $29.49 - 32.04 per hour / depending on experience

Note: Employees are paid the last working day of each month.

JOB OBJECTIVE

 

The Split Shift Custodial & Grounds/Maintenance provides comprehensive custodial, grounds, and light maintenance services to ensure district facilities are clean, safe, secure, functional, and welcoming. This position is split between custodial duties and grounds/maintenance support and requires flexibility to respond to daily operational needs, seasonal demands, and school events. The employee works independently with minimal supervision while collaborating closely with custodial, grounds, and maintenance teams.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, or consistent with the subject being taught, but can be abnormally loud on occasion.

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally work in outside weather conditions and be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, temperature fluctuations, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals commonly used in instruction and/or cleaning. It may be expected that the individual could be exposed to blood or other potentially infectious materials during the course of their duties. The employee may be exposed to infectious disease as carried by students.

 

Performance Evaluation: Performance is evaluated in accordance with district policy and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
